Mr. Kouengoua is founder and Senior Managing Partner of the Kouengoua and Mbattang Law Firm.
Bio
He is a qualified Solicitor and Advocate at the Supreme Court of Cameroon and senior member of the Cameroon Bar Association with 32 years experience.
He is also lead Counsel at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha. He is former Treasurer and Secretary General at the Cameroon Bar Council respectively for a cumulative period of over 9 years.
He leads the International Criminal Law and Corporate department of the firm. He oversees the firm’s diversified portfolio in areas of International Criminal law, Commercial Law, Insurance Law, Oil and Gas, Maritime law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance, Mediation and Arbitration.
He advises on all aspects of corporate law and procedures to obtain government exploration licenses in oil and gas, mining and the forestry industries.
